Recorder
Use recorder for Android apps built with XML layouts and Views. It includes core and enables session recording; you do not need to add the core artifact separately.
Public API
This module declares no additional public classes or functions. Control the recorder through the included core APIs:
- Coryn — initialise the SDK, start and stop recording, register screens and State Providers, and add Events.
- Configuration — configure initialisation and recording through the Kotlin DSL or Java builders.
- UI Capture — mask Views, track Toasts, set SurfaceView order, and integrate root touch listeners.
- API Requests — report network Events manually or through the optional OkHttp interceptor.
Integration
Follow Get Started to install the artifact, initialise Coryn in your Application, and request recording. Initialisation alone does not start recording.

Compose and mixed UI
For apps using Compose, including apps mixing Compose and Views, choose recorder-compose. It includes recorder and core, so you do not need to add those artifacts separately.
